LOVING VINCENT is an animation drama about the last days of painter Vincent Van Gogh.

Frequent references are made to Van Gogh having taken his own life, but the theme of suicide and mental illness is handled with sensitivity.

There is a brief sex scene when Van Gogh walks past a couple 'making out' in the street. There are also references to sexual health.

Injury detail

Scenes of injury detail include Van Gogh handing his severed ear to a woman and the sight of blood after cutting it off. Other scenes show the aftermath of Van Gogh shooting himself in the stomach.

There are also uses of bad language and two brief scenes of violence depicting fist fights.
