15 means that the film, video or DVD is really only suitable for those aged 15 or above. Only people aged 15 or older are allowed to view a 15 rated film at the cinema or buy or rent a 15 rated DVD, video or game.
18 means that the film, video or DVD is only suitable for adults (people aged eighteen or over). Only adults are allowed to view an 18 rated film at the cinema or rent or buy an 18 rated video, DVD or game.

Bob Wallace and Phil Davis leave the army after the war and become a top song-and-dance act.  With Christmas romance in mind, they follow a pair of female entertainers to a Vermont lodge, only to find their former commander, General Waverly, is its owner.
 

'Irving Berlin's White Christmas' is the well-loved tale of two New York entertainers who find themselves at their former commanding officer's rural hotel and stage a show to help him through a difficult Christmas season.  The film contains no material likely to offend or harm.

Apart from some very mildly threatening moments at the start of the film when soldiers shelter from German artillery, there is nothing in this film that could be expected to cause harm or offence.
