	The Pontypandy Pioneers go camping in the forest in the middle of a heat wave. When two children light a fire it soon spreads and Fireman Sam and his team must try to stop it burning down Pontypandy.

'The Great Fire of Pontypandy - Fireman Sam' is an hour long episode of the popular children's programme about a Welsh fire fighter. Sam is offered a promotion but is preoccupied when a forest fire breaks out and threatens his home town. It was passed 'U' and contains no material likely to offend or harm. As is common with the well-known series there is inevitably some focus on people getting into dangerous situations and Sam and his crew saving them. There are some very mild moments of panic and concern when the forest fire rages and characters are briefly trapped. There is a positive resolution to this. There is also some undetailed sight of dangerous activity, for example 'Naughty Norman' and his cousin trying to light a fire in the forest which gets out of control, and a hapless scout leader setting a trap in which a human is caught. It is, however, made very clear that such behaviour shouldn't be copied and has potentially dire consequences. Given the well known nature of the series and its subject matter, the material was deemed unlikely to be copied or to pose harm risks. 'U' stands for Universal, which means that we think the film is suitable for audiences aged four or older
