Enter the Childnet Film Competition 2015

The annual Childnet film competition is now open to school children and students aged 7-18.

Childnet would like to invite all primary and secondary schools as well as youth organisations across the UK to enter their challenge to create a short film about internet safety.

The films should showcase positive and inspiring use of the internet, the theme at the heart of the Film Competition 2015.

This year Childnet have teamed up with PhoneBrain, an organisation that aims to educate users about premium rate services, to stretch and challenge the 11+ category even further. So, for the first time ever there will be 2 projects to choose from in the secondary age category (for entrants aged 11 to 18).

The judging panel will be looking for films that are creative, close to the theme of the competition and have a clear message. These film-makers will be invited to a private screening at London’s BFI where they will be awarded great prizes for their creative achievements.

The competition closes on Friday 12 June 2015. Finalists will be notified on Friday 19 June, with the finalists event taking place on Monday 13 July.
